Responsible for handling the existing
patients and meeting the demands of the new
patients and emergencies. Works
independently and performs all the phases of
dentistry consisting of diagnostic,
treatment, planning and specialized dental
services. Independently diagnoses and treats
diseases, injuries, and malformations of
teeth and gums and of related oral
structures, examines the patients to
determine the nature of the conditions,
utilizing X-rays, dental instruments and
other diagnostic procedures, provides all
aspects of dentistry services including
preventive dental care to treat and maintain
oral health, restorative, prosthetic,
surgical dental procedures, emergencies, and
aesthetic dentistry, advises patients
regarding personal oral hygiene needs and
maintains dental records. Has state dental
license/registration to practice dentistry.
DMD or DDS degree.
