Qualifications:
Certified by the State of Texas as a RDA
Certifications for monitoring nitrous oxide and CPR.
Minimum of 2 years experience in a dental office.
Experience with Invisalign a plus.
The successful candidate will have a positive, can do
attitude and enjoy working in a team oriented office
where everyone plays an important role but is quick to
assist others as needed. This person will show initiative
and the ability to organize oneself. The assistant should
be willing to learn and not discouraged by making
mistakes or asking for help.
Responsibilities
This person will act as the lead dental assistant
supervising the activities of the back office, including the
following:
chairside assisting during patient treatment
procedures
sterilization of equipment using ultrasonic and autoclave
making impressions and pouring models
taking digital x-rays
ordering supplies and maintaining inventory
preparing rooms for patient treatment
greeting patients and recording vital signs before
treatment
fitting permanent crowns and fabricating temporary
crowns.
