We are looking for a full time billing and insurance specialist who will be responsible for filing all dental claims, payments and appeal Duties include but are not limited to: Making sure that all information and patient documentation is entered correctly prior to submitting claims. Processing claims to primary and secondary insurance companies. Posting insurance and patient payments. Daily follow up of claims and making sure supporting documentation ( x-rays, perio charting, etc) has been submitted to insurance companies. Resolution of claim denials Collecting outstanding patient balances and assigning balances to collection agency as needed. Processing pre treatment estimates and communication with patients regarding their copays and treatment plans. Occasional front desk back up. This full time position offers a simple IRA, Aflac and PTO.
