Here is a description and responsibilities we are looking for in our team members:Dental Assistant Registered Dental Assistant is the liaison between the dentist and the patient. They maintain communication with the dentist, patient, and the front office staff to ensure that the patient receive the ultimate patient experience. We offer a broad range of dental services. The ideal candidate will be proficient at performing all of the following tasks:
*accurately taking all types of diagnostic records (x-rays, photographs, impressions, etc.)
* fitting and adjusting occlusal guards and other removable appliances
* chairside whitening
* fabricating temporaries for crowns and bridges
* implant procedures
*orthodontic assisting is preferred but not required
Diligent infection control is paramount for this position on our team. If you are an exceptionally clean, neat, and organized person in your everyday life, this will be a great fit for you. While assisting with a procedure, you will need to allow the doctor to clearly see the tooth being worked on, and utilize superior suction and isolation techniques. Competently banding and wedging teeth for restoration is vital for this opportunity. You should also feel comfortable using and maintaining lab equipment and other essential dental equipment, as this would be an important part of your daily routine. In addition to the items above, you will be communicating with laboratories and tracking their cases, inventorying and ordering dental supplies within budget. OSHA/HIPAA and CPR certifications are a major plus.
