Our Hygienists are responsible for delivering direct dental care and associated
services to patients under the general supervision of a dentist and for providing
general support to the office.
* Deliver quality and compassionate care to every patient
* Deliver direct patient care to patients, including scaling and prophylaxis, x-
rays, application of sealants and fluoride, and related procedures, under the
general supervision of a dentist
* Provide excellent customer service by looking for opportunities to offer Same
* Educate patients and parents in oral hygiene instruction
* Assess the dental condition and needs of patients and review patients medical
* Responsible for adhering to all government regulations and company standards
* Guide parents and patients through our entire treatment process
* Assist with dental and perio charting; when necessary
* Take x-rays and save into patient charts, when necessary

Enthusiastically greet and prepare patients for dental care
Perform accurate oral health assessments including screening, charting and
reporting of findings
Complete and thorough dental prophylaxis
Provide competent, non-surgical periodontal therapy
Deliver comprehensive patient care through hygiene mix and promotion of doctor
Maintain dental hygiene supplies and ensure instrument sterilization and effective
Educate patients by providing instructions for oral care following all hygiene
Act as a resource and assist patients with any follow up treatment planning
Actively participate with schedule maintenance
Associate or advanced degree in Dental Hygiene
State certification/licensure as required to work as a Dental Hygienist, active CPR
and compliance with any other licensing or credentialing requirements
One year or more of relevant experience in the dental industry preferred
Current certification to administer local anesthesia preferred (as allowed by state
