Our general dental practice is seeking an energetic go-getter for the position of Expanded Duties Dental Assistant. We are a thriving practice that has been growing leaps and bounds and our focus is on an exceptional patient experience. We keep a full but realistic schedule, and pride ourselves on our ability to see our patients on time and complete treatment without running over. The primary duty of an EDDA in our office would be placement of composite restorations, so applicants must be proficient with placing restorations in a timely manner without post-op sensitivity or bite issues. Other basic duties would include setup and cleanup of operatories, sterilization, taking impressions, assisting the dentist or hygienist during procedures, as well as other typical assistant duties. Currently we are hiring for 10 weeks of maternity leave coverage, Monday through Thursday, but we can be flexible with the schedule. If you are a good fit for our office, there is potential for ongoing employment.
