An immediate opening for a full time Financial Treatment Coordinator is available for you. A competitive pay and achievable bonuses structure is offered. Position Title: Financial Treatment Coordinator WORKING CONDITIONS/PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS • Sitting 80%. • Standing or walking 20%. • Moderate noise levels from dental and other lab equipment. • Medical, office, and lab setting. • Exceptional hand dexterity and typing skills to work with standard software programs provided. • Good mathematical aptitude in order to prepare and interpret financial reports, collect and track payments and account balances, and maintain financial integrity for the practice. • Frequent client and interoffice personnel interaction as this position must provide, present, explain, and coordinate special activities in treatment plans with patients as well as collect payments due and is heavily dependent on excellent customer interaction. • Near Vision - The ability to see details at close range (within a few feet of the observer) as required for computer data entry and the preparation of treatment plans. POSITION SUMMARY Responsible to prepare, present, and schedule patients for treatment plans following Dentist’s and/or Associate Dentist’s exam notes and direction. Set up any financial arrangements and collect payments from patients and insurance companies. Direct and ensure compliance of office personnel on company policy regarding collection procedures and practices production and collections monthly goals. SUCCESS FACTORS • Always maintain the highest level of confidentiality to HIPAA standards. • Adhere to strict safety guidelines and procedures to OSHA and office standards. • Must demonstrate the ability to engage patient in accepting diagnosed treatment and comply with Practice Production monthly goals • Must be detail oriented in order to maintain good financial practices, account balances, and financial reporting and Dental Treatment Planning. • You must be flexible and understand that your job duties may change from time to time and that you may be asked to assist in other areas of the office. • Must excel in forward thinking in order to anticipate the needs of the doctor as well as the patient. • Must demonstrate active listening by giving full attention to what other people are saying, taking time to understand the points being made, asking questions as appropriate, and not interrupting at inappropriate times. • Must demonstrate good reading comprehension by understanding written sentences and paragraphs in work-related documents. • Must demonstrate excellent communication skills by talking to others to convey information effectively. • Information Ordering—the ability to arrange things or actions in a certain order or pattern according to a specific rule or set of rules (e.g., patterns of numbers, letters, words, pictures, mathematical operations). EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION • Bachelor of Science in Accounting or Business Administration. Comparable experience may be considered to substitute for all or part of the required education at management’s sole discretion. • Accounting and management experience in the Dental field preferred. Overview MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES The role of the AOM is to assist the Operations Manager in achieving the financial performance and revenue growth strategy for their location(s). The AOM needs work with their Operations Manager to understand and leverage our knowledge of dental services in their local market, using best practices for patient acquisition and retention. Team Leader/ treatment coordinator Our office is fun, high tech, in a fabulous location, is looking for an energetic, experienced multi-tasker who shares a passion for dentistry, who is looking for the autonomy to create their dream team. single doctor, 2 hygiene practice. number one focus: treatment presentation and production scheduling. we are VERY dentrix proficient, so ability to schedule and navigate the schedule and ledger is a must our culture is patient focused care above all else addition duties: - Oversee the team- conduct flow in the office from front to back. - Oversee all practice goals- production and scheduling. - Oversee front desk roles- be able to fill in if an employee is absent in the front, oversee and coach / counsel and employee if systems are not being followed. Find a broken system and present solutions to fix it. If an employee is failing, hold them accountable at 30,60,90 day intervals using the AIDES system. - Review system a minimum of 2 days in advance for ability for the team to execute the flow of the schedule ( run on time) as well as production goals being met for hygiene and/ or doctor. Guide the recare coordinator and scheduling coordinator as needed to meet these goals - Oversee the AR report for collections/ uncollectible debt/ account audits. Ensure no accounts go to 90 days. A - Align the team. Make sure each employee is upholding the culture and goals - Have weekly meetings with the doctor to review concerns with the team, as well as a check in on all departments of the office- treatment tracker, AR concerns, scheduling issues. Daily have a brief beginning and end of day meeting to address any pressing/ critical concerns - Create a unified front with the Doctor in front of the team - Keep socializing with the team to a minimum- remember, they will be looking to you as a leader, not as a friend. - Oversee time off requests- put on calendar, and have the doctor approve. This is also true for out of office requests, sick time. Delegate who will cover what when a team member is out of the office. - Set SMART goals for the team in their roles. SMART is : Specific, Measureable, Achievable, Realistic, and Timely.
