It’s 1 hour to Denver to catch a Rockies/Broncos/Nuggets/Avs game, 1 hour to Eldora or Snowy Range ski areas, 30 minutes to Estes Park/Rocky Mountain National Park, 1 hour to DIA, or 1 hour to Wyoming if you really want to get away from it all. Home to tons of art and culture. Great schools, low crime, lots of water to go boating, trails galore to hike and bike. The area is growing rapidly, with one of the healthiest economies in the country. A revitalized downtown Loveland is just 5 minutes from the office.
I am selling a 25% partnership in the Comfort Dental office where I have worked for 10 years, Comfort Dental Thompson Valley. I started with Comfort Dental directly out of dental school in 2009, and I’m moving on to pursue a private practice in Washington state. Comfort Dental has provided a great income, with partners to mentor and help run the office. The 3 remaining partners have 34 combined years of experience in Comfort Dental, and will provide great mentorship to the new incoming partner. Comfort Dental is a franchise model, and the partners own and run the practices, while at the same time receiving the benefits of marketing, special markets prices on supplies, and visibility that a well known name like Comfort Dental provides.
The partnership was purchased in 2009 for $600,000. I am selling the partnership for $525,000 with a $100,000 down payment, and financing for a down payment is guaranteed through a bank that works with Comfort Dental partners. The remaining balance of $425,000 on the practice will be seller financed if desired. A one year trial can be offered with seller financing. The purchase price of $525,000 is negotiable if the buyer can secure outside financing to purchase outright.
My average yearly collection for 2014-2018 was $688,000, and our office overhead during that time was 42.6%. The average monthly collection for the office (4 partners combined) for 2014-2018 was $234,455, and average new patients during that time were 167/month. The average yearly collection for the practice during that time frame was $2.87M. My average yearly gross take home pay from 2014-2018 was $388,000, and we pay ourselves monthly. There are no quotas.
We have an expanded schedule, with all Comfort Dental offices open Monday-Friday 7:30 AM-7:30 PM and Saturday 7:30 AM-1:30 PM. Our office has 6 operatories, with 2 docs working at a time. We split the day into 6 hour shifts, AM and PM, and we typically work 5-6 shifts per week, 30-36 hours.
The structure provided by the Comfort Dental system makes it difficult to not succeed. In the 10 years I’ve been in the organization they’ve more than doubled in size and expanded to several new states.
For a current associate with experience or a motivated, hard working new graduate this could be a great opportunity. Comfort Dental holds a prospective partner meeting that any candidate must attend before signing on. Contact me if you’d like more details.
