Providing reproducible success with oral appliance therapy for OSA and therefore profitable treatment is dependent on identifying the limiting variables prior to the start of treatment. Dr. Olmos will explain a systematic approach to ensure success and one that relies heavily on finding the points of obstruction that are not currently identified by most treating dentists utilizing CBCT. This is a system of interdisciplinary collaboration between medical and dental fields for optimum patient care and one that highlights the dentist as the determinant of triage
Dr. Olmos will review his “system” and the technology available that allows doctors to triage disorders, diagnose and develop staged treatment plans for injuries (acute & chronic) of the TM joint, facial pain (typical & atypical),primary headaches and abnormal sleep.
