Artificial Intelligence (AI) now impacts our personal and professional lives in many ways. Computers are performing tasks traditionally carried out by humans, and the applications in healthcare and specifically in dental medicine are a particularly active area of investigation.
This webinar will review the introduction of AI in dental medicine. As background, terms used in this field will be defined, and the applications in general health care will be reviewed. Concepts underlying the use of AI in dentistry will be examined, and examples of current and future applications will be provided.
