Orthodontic Dental Treatment Coordinator explains treatment options to patients and help determine these clients' best option. They use everyday language to explain why treatment is necessary and what specific options would entail. Once a treatment is chosen by the patient, dental treatment coordinators lay out potential payment plans and explain the next steps in treatment. Dental coordinators also help determine ways to improve office efficiency and workflow, presenting these ideas to supervisors and helping to carry them out. Day-to-day responsibilities as a dental treatment coordinator include: • Outlining ortho dental options for clients • Interacting regularly with the dentist • Providing payment plans for patients • Implement financial policies • Corresponding with patients that have any questions about treatments • Educate patient on individual treatment plan for given diagnosis • Discuss payment plans, pre-estimates and patient follow-up Qualifications: • High School diploma or equivalent • Familiarity with orthodontic dental terminology • 6 months of Orthodontic Dental office experience • Dental software experience (Eaglesoft preferred) • Comfortability with presenting dental information to patients Required Traits: • The ability to understand a diagnosis given by a dentist • Positive attitude and demeanor • Good grooming and professional image • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills • Strong multi-tasking and organizational skills • Ability to work well in a team environment • the ability to understand a diagnosis given by a dentist Competitive compensation dependent on experience and qualifications.
