Pflugerville Family Dentistry is looking for its next rockstar Insurance
You will be responsible for administering the day-to-day activities of the dental
front desk and office, including but not limited to: ensuring patients insurance
information is up to date and verified, checking patients out and collecting
balances, presenting some treatment plans taking into account the patient's
insurance plan, maintenance of the records of patients, scheduling of patients,
maintaining appearance and order of dental office, and recall/recare system. May
also be required to assist with general front office duties.
Open and close dental office according to office protocol
Review the office for a neat, professional appearance and make necessary changes
Check the daily schedule for accuracy of insurance information
Obtaining full breakdowns of insurance benefits and entering into practice
management software when needed
Checking patients out and collecting balances
Presenting treatment plans and explaining insurance benefits
Other general administrative duties as needed
Gather and accurately record insurance information from patients
Record chart entries from phone or in-person conversations when appropriate
See that records are stored securely and handled in compliance with HIPAA privacy
and security regulations
Assure that every patient’s HIPAA forms and consent forms are signed and up to
Accurately file patient information
Track cases and referrals to and from other doctors
Help to update insurance information on all patients at all times
Verify insurance on patients when needed
Be an active participant in staff meetings Perform other tasks as assigned by
Sort, organize, and distribute mail
Prepare and send out continuing care notices as well as other correspondence as
High school diploma
Legible handwriting for communications
Strong typing skills
Knowledge of Gmail and Google Drive a plus
Knowledge of Microsoft Office a plus
Dental Office experience desired

Monday, Tuesday: 8:30-6
Wednesday, Thursday: 8:30-5

3.) At our 1 year anniversary- You will have earned 7 days of paid time off.
4.) At 2 years- We are going to add 5 more days to total 12 days of PTO.
