WHAT WE OFFER • Excellent pay • Health insurance • Vision insurance • Dental benefits • Paid time off • Monthly bonus opportunities • Fantastic family atmosphere and working environment WHAT YOU’LL DO • Arrive prior to the first scheduled patient to prepare for the day and be a part of the morning huddle • Maintain strict compliance with state, federal, and other regulations • Maintain a clean, sterile, and cheerful environment where our patients feel comfortable • Prepare patients for treatment and assist your specialist • Obtain dental history and/or records from patients (review patient health history and care-slips for completeness prior to providing to the specialist for review) • Obtain an updated health history for the specialist for all returning patients • Work with the front and back office teams to ensure the schedule runs smoothly and efficiently • Measure vitals • Take digital x-rays • Prepare treatment rooms • Patient education • Pass instruments as needed • Start IV’s and assist during general anesthesia and IV sedation procedures • Give pre-op and post-op instructions to patients • Sterilization and infection control • Take impressions • Pour and trim models • Inventory ordering • Surgical equipment maintenance • All other duties assigned REQUIREMENTS • Texas Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) license required • Preferred minimum 2 years of chairside experience in oral surgery and/or periodontics setting • Candidate MUST have knowledge of surgical techniques and have experience with I.V. sedation • Ability to take direction from the oral surgeon • Ability to work quickly, be organized, and be detail-oriented • Must have good manual dexterity and ability to stand on their feet for long periods • Must be reliable • Ability to effectively communicate with other dental office team members and patients • Eaglesoft experience preferred
