Office Coordinator Wayne, New Jersey Our growing company is seeking a highly motivated and positive individual with great organizational and communication skills to join our team at Advanced Dental Techniques. Responsibilities include scheduling appointments, conducting reminder calls and updating and organizing patient data as necessary. Consult with patients and answer questions related to planning treatment and payment options while focusing on obtaining a high percentage of treatment acceptances from patients. Ensure that patients receive a great experience and responsible for office profit & loss by managing patient scheduling, collections and receivables, and specialty referral process. Key Tasks The requirements listed below are representative, but not all inclusive, of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. - Greeting patients, answering telephones, scheduling, and confirming appointments - Entering patient information into the office system - Insurance verification, assist new patients in filling out the registration form - Collect and post payments including credit card transactions - Electronically submit/prepare insurance claims - Track production goals - Treatment plan presentation and acceptance Characteristics - Ability to communicate effectively in a professional and courteous manner - Willing to effectively participate as a team member with the office personnel - Committed to the protection of confidential information, records and/or reports - Good organizational skills - Present treatment plans and giving estimates of treatment costs in an effective manner - Track all outstanding treatment plans - Explain, promote and adhere to company payment policies and procedures - Submit, track and follow-up on prior authorizations - Obtain high treatment acceptance by explaining cost of treatment, insurance coverage and finance options - Solicit referrals from patients post operatively while at the same time tracking patient satisfaction with work provided - Achieve revenue goals by effectively managing patient scheduling, staff productivity, collections and receivables, specialty referral process - Recruit, hire and develop office teams capable of providing best in class patient care Requirements - 2-5 years of experience preferred. - Experience using computers and MS Office - Understanding of insurance procedures and claims is desired - Strong telephone, communication and time management skills - Must be a people person with a great attitude and attention to detail - Ability to work in a fast paced environment - Basic computer knowledge - Excellent communication skills and customer service skills - Capable of addressing and mitigating needs and concerns of customers and staff - Is able to interpret office financials and reacts accordingly to opportunities - Knowledge of billing and treatment case presentation preferred - An eagerness to learn on the job - Dentrix software experience preferred Advance Dental Techniques offers employment opportunities that promote professional, personal, and financial growth.
