Description
Office Manager for Pediatric & Orthodontic Dental Office We are seeking a warm, friendly & reliable team member who will be able to present Orthodontic & Pediatric treatment plans. In addition this will include greeting patients, checking in & scheduling appointments, and handle billing .We are looking for someone with excellent communication skills, cheerful, a self-motivated team player who takes initiative to learn new things. The candidate must have a friendly demeanor and be well-versed with computers. Considerations for the position: Positive and customer focused attitude Professional appearance and demeanor Initiative and strong work ethic Self-motivated and results oriented Highly organized and accountable; ability to multi-task Honest, reliable, punctual Ability to work closely within a group and communicate well Ability to interact with children and parents in a caring and thoughtful manner Ability to prioritize tasks and work with interruptions Strong attention to detail Job Responsibilities Discuss treatment plans and present financial co-payments to parents for upcoming procedures Enter and scan patient data Answer phone calls, schedule appointments, verify and enter insurance coverage Manage appointment schedule, filling schedule as needed Collect and post payments at the time of service Verify and submit insurance claims, enter insurance checks Check voicemail daily and office email on an ongoing basis Assist with marketing and social media projects Maintain a clean and friendly waiting area Supervise overall flow of office as well as pitching in to help other team members in different areas of the office as needed Prepare, monitor, and track operational reports and key vitals of the company to ensure accuracy and efficiency. Accurately maintains and analyzes financial reports, P&L performance, and achieves practice financial goals. * Plan for staffing needs, recruit and interview candidates, conduct background checks, hire new employees, and develop employee retention and engagement. On board new employees, conduct orientation sessions, relay the vision of the practice, and arrange on-the-job training for new hires. Analyze training needs to develop new training programs or modify and improve existing programs; Conduct or arrange for ongoing training and CE classes for staff members. Monitors patient flow and staff allocation to meet patient needs, maximize doctor time; Coordinate absences and time off requests.
