Kelley Orthodontics, the private orthodontic practice of Dr. James “Jed” Kelley, is a 10 member-team committed to providing our patients the highest standards of orthodontic care in an upbeat, efficient, and friendly office. We are seeking a full-time Human Resource Personnel Manager and Patient Accounts Coordinator. Do you have the personnel manager piece on your resume, but perhaps lack the orthodontic/dental piece? We are seeking a highly trained and skilled personnel manager to join our team and we will train our new manager in the industry specific technical processes involved in the dual role of Patient Accounts Coordinator. The Personnel Manager is key to our practice’s “patient first focus”, happy day-to-day office environment, authentic delivery of team work, and seamless communications. To accommodate the growth of his practice, our dedicated Orthodontist and Business Owner (Dr. Kelley) is now seeking to redirect his personnel management duties to a skilled manager. The role of Personnel Manager functions as the “person on point” in the office to: •oversee and guide others •distribute team communications •intercept unexpected personnel issues (such as, “Oh no! I can’t come in! I’ve got the flu!”) •work with others to fine-tune policies and systems •coordinate staff meetings or team building programs •document personnel records •coordinate on-boarding of new personnel •handle special projects for Dr. Kelley •coordinate leave coverage, when needed Qualifications to apply for this position include: 1. 3+ years of professional business management experience proving your success as a critical thinker, highly skilled communicator, and creative problem solver. 2. 3+ years verifiable experience as an effective department or business team leader and personnel manager. 3. BS or BA from accredited University in Communications, Psychology, Business Management, Healthcare Management, or related field. Candidates who did not complete college will be considered if possessing skills and knowledge gained by experience and other training sources. 4. Excellent verifiable references and stable work history. This position also covers the administrative role of “Patient Accounts Coordinator” also commonly referred to as “Financial Coordinator”. The PAC documents payment contracts, obtains responsible party signatures, enters the document into the computer, sets up auto drafts, files and tracks insurance payments, and makes the periodic “touch base” call to overdue accounts. This dual-position offers the “perfect combo” of skills for the individual who enjoys people, leadership and the “i-dotting and t-crossing” of precise administrative work. This is a full-time, 40 hour / week position, M-F.
