Description
A general dental practice seeks an upbeat personality to work with a highly- trained team of professionals. We aim to provide the highest level of customer service in our modern facility, and work diligently at making the dental visit a positive experience! We offer a broad range of dental services. The ideal candidate will be proficient at performing all of the following tasks: *pre-diagnosis, *accurately taking all types of diagnostic records (x-rays, photographs, impressions, etc.) * fitting and adjusting occlusal guards and other removable appliances, * chairside whitening * fabricating temporaries for crowns and bridges, * implant procedures, *orthodontic assisting is preferred but not required Diligent infection control is paramount for this position on our team. If you are an exceptionally clean, neat, and organized person in your everyday life, this will be a great fit for you. While assisting with a procedure, you will need to allow the doctor to clearly see the tooth being worked on, and utilize superior suction and isolation techniques. Competently banding and wedging teeth for restoration is vital for this opportunity. You should also feel comfortable using and maintaining lab equipment and other essential dental equipment, as this would be an important part of your daily routine. In addition to the items above, you will be communicating with laboratories and tracking their cases, inventorying and ordering dental supplies within budget. OSHA/HIPAA and CPR certifications are a major plus. This important full-time position is a wonderful fit for someone who: * is very reliable and only in rare emergencies cannot work (other than properly scheduled time off). * Communicates appropriately and effectively to patients, other team members, and the doctor. *Is able to put patients at ease, as well as converse with them in a friendly and professional manner. *Has a great attitude and willing to be a team player. Dental Front Office experience and working knowledge of Dentrix is preferred.
