Description
We are growing and we need to complement our team with an enthusiastic Registered Dental Assistant, with advanced orthodontic experience. The position is part time to full-time, Monday-Friday (Hours may vary, but typically 10-6) and 2-3 Saturdays per month. Optima Dentistry located at xxx S 1st St. Suite A, Garland TX xxxx0 Fusion Orthodontics and Children's Dentistry xxxx0 Preston Rd. Suite xxx, Dallas TX xxxx2 Summary of Essential Job Functions Sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment. Prepare treatment rooms, instruments and tray setups for dental procedures. Greet and prepare patients for treatment. Take dental x-Rays Assist the dentist during examinations and treatment procedures. Conduct work in compliance with office policies and procedures, safety, and OSHA guidelines. Record medical and dental histories and vital signs of patient. Provide postoperative instructions prescribed and directed by orthodontist. Record treatment information in patient records. Participate in the achievement of patient satisfaction and office production goals by working efficiently and providing a high level of patient service. Minimum qualifications: RDA License High School diploma or equivalent Reliable and dependable Ability to adapt to change and stay focused in a fast paced environment Advanced orthodontic experience is a must Dental software experience (Dentrix preferred). Positive attitude and demeanor Good grooming and professional image Outstanding verbal and written communication skills Bilingual is a plus, but not required Flexible schedule Ability to travel between sister locations Salary: $15.00 to $20.00 /hour Application Questions How many years of advanced orthondontic experience do you have?
