Escambia Community Clinics, Inc. dba Community Health Northwest Florida (CHNWF), Pensacola, Florida - Dentist Community Health Northwest Florida (CHNWF) is seeking general dentists for their dental program in located in Century, Florida. CHNWF is a not-for-profit Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) that provides primary and preventive medical, pediatric, dental, behavioral health, case management, and pharmaceutical services at nine practice locations in Northwest Florida. Since xxxx, ECC has cared for residents of Escambia and Santa Rosa Counties with compassion, dignity and respect for each person regardless of ability to pay for services. Qualifications • Doctor of Dental Science (DDS), Doctor of Medicine in medical Dentistry or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) • Current licensure as a Dentist by the Florida Board of Dentistry. • License/Activity Status is Clear/Active through Medical Quality Assurance Services • Experience in Public Health Dentistry or similar experience is desired, but not required. • Current DEA Registration number • Current BCLS Certification • Current Florida Medicaid number (will process for candidate if needed) • Proficient in simple and complicated extractions • Experience with providing treatment to pediatric populations Essential Functions Manage and supervise the provision of direct clinical dental services to patients, providing the full scope of dental health care services which fall under the field of training; including but not limited to diagnosis, treatment, education, coordination of care, preventive care and maintenance to patients of all ages. In addition, the dentist is a principal member of the Health Center Care Team. In that capacity they are expected to be familiar with philosophy, goals and objectives of the Center and work collaboratively to achieve them. A demonstrated commitment to high quality dental care for both children and adults in a public health setting is required.
