Description
The Distinctively Dental team, office of Dr. Kyle Taylor, would like to speak with you about an employment opportunity as a hygiene assistant / Dental Assistant. Applicant must have an NC dental radiographic license and must show proficiency in taking radiographs. Primary duties include being the "right-hand" person to the hygienist, by setting up and breaking down operatories, attending to sterilization, and coronal polishing (current certificate not immediately required, but is a plus). Secondary clinical duties include also helping out the doctor's assistant when time allows by occasionally seating patients and working up emergiencies as well as occasionally assisting the doctor chairside with patients. In addition, up to 25% of the duties will involve clerical assignments in the business office as a back up to the full time staff in place, as cross training is vital to the office. Experience with Eaglesoft is also a plus. Applicant must have excellent people skills, a strong work ethic, and an ability to integrate with the team in order to create a positive energy work environment with fellow teammates. Employee hours are M-W 7:45 to 4:30 (up to 5:00) with a 1 hour lunch. Thursday hours will be added in coming months and consistently in about 6 months.
