Responsible for all daily office audits and claims submissions. Researches and resolves insurance billing issues. A team player who is reliable and organized to join our team. We are looking for someone who has the knowledge and understanding of dental front desk/management with the revenue cycle. General Responsibilities: •Manage Billing Audit Log •Claims Review •Maintains awareness of Medicaid, CHIP and Insurance billing and coding guidelines; •Ensures proper billing of all charges to patients, insurance companies and government agencies such as CHIP and Medicaid; •Ensures all appropriate data required for the tracking of errors and omissions related to claims are made available on a timely basis; •Responsible for reporting audits of errors and omissions to office and operations daily •Prepares and submits clean claims to various insurance companies either electronically or by paper •Answers questions from office staff in regards to billing •Claims Verification •Follow up with ECentral reporting to confirm completion of claims submission •Maintains good interpersonal, customer service and communication with all team members •Conducts self in accordance with South Texas Dental’s Employee Manual •Maintains strictest confidentiality; adheres to all HIPAA guidelines/regulations •Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with patients, employees and insurance. Candidate Profile & Requirements: •1 Year of Revenue Cycle experience •Understanding the life cycle of a claim •Dentrix Software experience preferred •Multi-tasking a must •Knowledge of dentistry and understanding dental terminology •Strong attention to detail •Knowledge of revenue cycle •Strong knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, CHIP, Managed Care, and Commercial carriers •Intermediate level experience with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook Email, etc.) •Ability to communicate clearly and effectively verbally and in writing •Ability to work independently and under pressure while handling multiple tasks simultaneously •Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with patients, employees and insurance •Ability to work Monday through Friday from 9:00am – 6:00pm South Texas Dental is an equal opportunity employer.
