Here’s what we know! The Practice Manager position is key to our organization’s
continuing success. Combining the energy gained from Dr. Pumphrey’s new
leadership’s initiatives with a vision to serve the Midtown and surrounding areas
of Atlanta, our practice growth has exceeded our recent expectations and created
the welcomed necessity to remove management responsibilities off of our surgeons
and into the capable hands of a practice manager.
Our newly designed role of Practice Manager is diverse in skill and responsibility.
After an initial training period to learn “the language of our dental specialty”,
administrative systems (such as scheduling/check in/check out) and interpretation
of treatment plans, the Manager will function as the office team leader and be the
direct report for each individual in our seven-member group. Personnel
responsibilities will include the interview/hire of future team members congruent
with our office culture and brand, review and coach staff to reach and maintain
standards, and consistent adherence to policies provided in our staff handbook.
In a well-supported effort with Dr. Brock Pumphrey, the manager will model and
oversee optimal verbal communications to patients and referring specialists,
administrative systems designed to achieve revenue goals and ultimately conduct
workdays that are readily described by team members, doctors and patients as
pleasant and seamless. Additional responsibilities will include project research,
future office expansion initiatives and implementation of well-designed marketing

Qualifications to apply for this position include:
1. 3+ years of professional business management experience requiring parallel
skills, critical thinking, positive and diplomatic communications, and creative
2. Personnel supervisory experience, 3 years minimum.
3. BS or BA from accredited University in Business Management, Healthcare
Management, Marketing or related field. Candidates who did not complete college
will only be considered if possessing exemplary skills and knowledge in the
