Orthodontic Treatment Coordinator Cope Orthodontics is a well established and highly rated fee for service Orthodontic practice seeking an additional team player who is friendly, has excellent communication and problem-solving skills, has knowledge of dental terminology, and is focused on excellent customer service. It is important for our ideal candidate to be able to communicate knowledgeably and concisely about treatment needs and the orthodontic treatment process with our patients and their parents. Our ideal candidate is proficient with computers and able to multi-task while maintaining a pleasant and professional demeanor. A background or degree in communications or marketing is desirable for this position Job Title: • Orthodontic Treatment Coordinator - position is available immediately • Full-time position (7:30am-5:30pm Monday to Thursday) • Compensation based on qualifications and experience Duties & Responsibilities: • Welcome patients to our office in a warm and pleasant manner while maintaining multiple phone lines and checking in and out patients • Manage doctor time to ensure schedule stays on time and running in a timely manner • Schedule appointments as well as confirm consultation appointments • Follow up with recall patients • Manage financial accounts • Discuss treatment options in detail and prepare financial arrangements with patients • Set up financial contracts and ensure that patients have been notified of status and their financial responsibilities • Perform miscellaneous tasks and duties assigned to front office staff • Cross training with other front office positions and helping clinical staff when necessary • Participate as a contributing member of the office staff team to achieve patient satisfaction and office production goals • Communication with dental and specialist referral offices • Perform other duties as assigned Qualifications: • A broad-based understanding of the orthodontic treatment process is required • Experience with orthodontic treatment presentations and financial contracts is required • Minimum of 3 years of orthodontic experience required • High School Diploma or equivalent • Customer service or patient care experience • Ability to collaborate with others • Strong attention to detail • Ability to work in a fast, dynamic environment and prioritize tasks • Excellent oral, written and interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively • Experience taking orthodontic diagnostic records is a plus • Digital practice management software experience (Dolphin Management and Imaging experience preferred) Next Step Please visit our website,, for additional information about our practice.
