Description
Southland Children's Dentistry, in Albany, GA, is a growing pediatric dental practice looking to fill a position for a dental assistant. Our #1 goal is for every child to have a great experience at every appointment! We work hard to create this good experience for our children and therefore take a very soft approach to pediatric dentistry, which in turn, creates comfortable young patients. Applicant must have experience assisting in a dental office; however, pediatric experience is not required. With our #1 being a great experience, it is paramount that applicant is comfortable working with children and have great communication skills. Tasks will include •Greeting and Seating Patients •Taking Radiographs •Full Dental Charting •Patient Education •Operatory Set-up and Breakdown •Assisting our hygiene department •Assisting with Sterilization, Ordering, and Stocking •Clerical/Front Office Duties when Applicable •Placing Sealants assisting during Qualifications: -Must be able to work M-Th from 7:55-5:00. (Friday hours are a likely possibility in the future) -Have a stable work history and excellent references -Emotionally mature and intelligent. -Have exemplary communication skills with parents and children.
