Private Pediatric Dental office looking for a Front Desk with experience We are growing and looking for team players for our NEW location in Garland Attention to detail a must, quick learner, able to multi-task and someone that works well in a team environment. THIS POSITION IS FAST PACED AND PAYING ATTENTION TO DETAIL is A MUST PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: Maintain clinical and administrative office policies and procedures Greet and welcome patients Patient check-in and help with check-out Communicate with patients, parents and visitors Distribute and collect new patient paperwork Assist with cleaning duties Update patient information and enter new patient information Set up New Patient files in Dentrix G6 at least 24 hours prior to the appointment Correctly set up patient insurance and collect insurance information Collect copays and deductibles and record receipts when necessary Schedule return appointments Verify PPO insurance Familiar with MCNA, DentaQuest, TMHP PORTAL TO VERIFY ELIGIBILITY Assist parents with calling MCO to assign patient to our office (main dental home) Provide referral information and communicate with referrals to schedule appointments Able to demonstrate basic understanding of treatments/contracts/financial terms Demonstrate knowledge of effective scheduling Comply with protocols and standards Demonstrate and promote superior customer service skills Ability to multi-task is a must Identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner Call patients within 10-15 min of missed appointment and document info properly Adhere to dress code Other work related duties as assigned JOB REQUIREMENTS: Minimum of 4 year of experience working in a dental office A MUST!! Minimum of High School Diploma or Equivalent Current CPR certification Bilingual in Spanish and English a plus Skilled in organizing resources and establishing priorities Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing Skilled in the use of computers, window-based operating environment Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively at all levels in a collaborative team environment Ability to meet OSHA, CDC, ADA and HIPPA standards
