Description
Weekend Dentistry is seeking an Operations Manager (OM). The OM is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the clinics. This position will be integral in inspiring and facilitating a culture of patient centric care through effective operations processes. In providing committed leadership in implementing the best practices for our organization, this support is crucial to the delivery of the company's mission of helping children achieve a lifetime of great oral health. ***CANDIDATE MUST HAVE A MULTI-UNIT MANAGEMENT EXPERIENCE AND EXPERIENCE WITHIN THE DENTAL INDUSTRY*** DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Monitor revenue margins and worker productivity Analyze practice performance and establish processes that increases productivity and efficiency Implement new directives for growth Interpret P&Ls Build effective relationships with doctors, staff and upper management - strong interpersonal & leadership skills Liaison between the corporate office and the field Manage all day-to-day operations of assigned territory including employee relations, patient relations, and achieving operational goals Achieve revenue goals by effectively managing the office teams, patient scheduling, staff productivity, and collections and receivables Increase patient growth and retention by supporting marketing and promotional programs Build office morale by promoting a supportive team environment Ensure successful execution of operational standards, including compliance with established company policies and procedures Communicate on a regular basis with team members and support teams EDUCATION & JOB RELATED COMPETENCIES BS in Business Management or related experience 2+ years of managerial experience managing 10+ staff members Multi-Site Managerial experience a plus Knowledge of dental terminology and dental practices Energetic, motivated and positive Strong problem solving skills Ability to motivate, influence, and coach teams to success Collaborative and service-minded Proficiency in MS Office, especially Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, with a focus on creating and developing spreadsheets, presentations, and reports effectively and efficiently Maintain confidentiality and demonstrated high degree of integrity Strong written and oral communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently while handling multiple projects and tasks concurrently and timely Ability to maintain professionalism in difficult and stressful situations
