We are looking for a highly motivated, full time orthodontic assistant to join
our busy practice. Proficiency with dental software is helpful, but we are
willing to train. Monday through Thursday and some Friday mornings. The primary
focus must always be on the patient’s experience. Our excellent team enjoys
working hard and having fun. Together we support our doctors in providing top
quality orthodontic care to our patients.
Responsibilities and Duties
Orthodontic assistant and other basic assistant duties. Including set up and
break down of own chair, responsible to organize your station , keep it stocked
and clean, comfortable working in the mouth and placing wires, adheres to all
OSHA and safety policies, taking x-rays, sterilize instruments, taking accurate
and detailed impressions, pour up and trim models, fabricate retainers,
exceptional written and verbal communication skills, document patient notes in
chart, schedule patients next appointment, and review after care instructions
with patient, etc.
Qualifications and Skills
We are a fast paced office! In search of a hard-working, energetic individual
with excellent communication skills who can multi-task. High school diploma
required. Preferred, but not required: technical school; or equivalent
combination of education and dental/orthodontic experience. Must have a good
attitude and be willing to work within the team concept. Must be dependable,
