We are seeking an energetic and friendly Entry Level Patient Coordinator for The Dental Ranch location. Job Description/Responsibilities: The Patient Coordinator plays a key role in providing excellent service to the patient. They are typically the first person the patient comes into contact with. The Patient Coordinator performs a variety of general front office duties while promoting a safe environment of minimal stress. Tasks include, but are not limited to answering the telephone, patient service, verifying insurance, checking in/out patients, filing and maintaining all patient charts, preparing and sending x-ray copies to other providers and insurance carriers, printing and mailing statements, deleting charts, maintaining quarterly newsletter mailing lists, miscellaneous correspondence and public relations duties, and purging patient charts on a quarterly basis. This position requires working Saturdays Job Title: Patient Coordinator (Entry Level) Hourly Rate: $11-$13 Location: The Dental Ranch- xxxx W. Northwest Highway Suite xxx Dallas, Tx, xxxx0 Job Type: Full Time Job Duties: Check-in Patients – Providing great patient service with a smile and positive attitude. Making sure information has been entered correctly. Gets copy of insurance card. Collects Monies when required. Check-out Patients- Making sure follow up appointments have been scheduled. Collects monies when required. Initial Audit Schedule Patients- Appointments are made correctly and are communicated correctly to the patient regarding appointment times and locations. Medical Records- Makes sure all records have been received for patient. Releases records to providers/patients needing copy. Calling patients with insurance estimates and scheduling appointments if necessary/verifying insurance benefits Completing data reporting in a timely manner Handling incoming/outgoing phone calls. Treatment Plans/Charges- Make sure that treatment plan charges.
