Description
We are a modern, progressive practice that provides comprehensive pediatric dental care. We offer a broad range of pediatric dental care including preventive services (e.g., exams, radiographs, fluoride treatments, sealants and space maintenance), a broad range of restorative options (e.g., tooth-colored fillings, crowns), orthodontics, sedation and hospital dentistry, and laser procedures. Our patient population includes infants, children, adolescents, and patients of all ages who have special healthcare needs. We are seeking a quality-minded PT dental assistant and team member with excellent interpersonal and clinical skills who enjoys creating an environment that builds strong relationships with patients and their parents. Our practice strives to help our patients successfully start a journey toward a lifetime of healthy, happy smiles through fun and rewarding experiences. REQUIREMENTS: High school diploma or equivalent with formal dental assistant training considered a plus. Must have a minimum of 1 year pediatric dental assistant experience with outstanding skills in all aspects of preventive dental care, oral radiographs, restorative techniques (e.g., composites, stainless steel/zirconium crowns, space maintainers) and orthodontic care. Successful candidates will have excellent oral and written communication and experience using dental practice management software including the ability to accurately complete documentation of all procedures. Our team members must possess a compassionate and caring attitude, be adaptable with the changes common to pediatric care & a personality attuned to working with children. They must also have a strong work ethic, a reliable attendance history, and the ability to work well in a supportive team environment.
