Dr. Lepore is a graduate of the University of Florida c/o xxxx with specialized training in Cosmetics, Invisalign, Laser Dentistry, and Implant Restorative Dentistry. Expected Duties and Responsibilities: Patient Communication: •Greet and escort patients through all aspects of clinical care and help patients feel comfortable •Ensure patients’ questions are answered thoroughly before they leave •Obtain and review health histories according to office protocol •Chart patients and record date, service rendered and any charges. •Provide detailed and thorough notes to the clinical record on all patients. •Good interpersonal skills to maintain effective rapport with patients, dentists, and staff Patient/Clinical Care: •Set up treatment rooms for procedures according to doctor’s expectations. •Perform clinical procedures as practice act allows and as directed by dentist •Anticipate and assist dentist’s needs •Mix dental materials •High competency in fabrication of temporary crowns including veneer/full arch provisionalization would be ideal. •Experience with Eaglesoft preferred but not required. Treatment Room Management and Sterilization: •Keep dental units ready, stocked and clean •Oversee cleanliness, organization, and stocking and ordering of supplies for the dental office •Disinfect treatment rooms and sterilize all instruments according to OSHA regulations •Keep trays, instruments and treatment room drawers organized •Ensure that office sterilization procedures document is on display •Implement the preventative maintenance/cleaning schedule for dental equipment •Follow laboratory procedures according to office protocol •Compliance with state dental practice requirements (i.e., X-ray requirements, OSHA training, CPR training) Work Ethic and Personality •Team-focused attitude with co-workers •Willing to help on non-scheduled days/hours if doctor, office, or more importantly patients require it. •Strong positive communication skills •Confident presenting treatment •Continual growth to become best team player •Thinking outside of the box to have fun and create better structures as part of teamwork •Operating with integrity (keeping your word) Job Type: •Full-time, 32-40 hours per week •Payroll is biweekly Benefits: •Monthly individual bonus potential •PTO •Personal and family dental benefits Required education: •High school or equivalent •Expanded Functions Required experience as Dental Assistant: •All levels of experience welcome, at least 1 year preferred but not required Required license or certification: •X-Ray License •Expanded Functions Certification •Basic Life Support (BLS) •CPR Start Date: Immediately Job Type: Full-time Salary: $15.00 to $20.00 /hour Serious Applicants: Please respond to this by doing the following… 1 – in the subject of the email put “I’m your world class Assistant” 2 – in the body of the email write why you’re the right person for the position 3 – attach your resume 4 – include your salary/hourly requirements
