The Periodontic Manager supports DECA Dental Group’s Specialty Team by providing
proficient, trustworthy dental services and care to patients, and effectively
and efficiently communicating with team members to align with the mission,
vision, and values of the organization.
This position will be reporting directly to the Specialty Director and will play
an instrumental role in the guest experience for DECA Dental.
Job Duties and Requirements:
Greet patients with a smile
Answer phones and schedule appointments with a positive attitude
Maintain flexibility regarding scheduling changes, communicating changes to
patients and staff
Work to maintain full schedules and maintain office schedule flow
Collect balances and verify insurance when needed
Present accurate patient treatment plans, determine insurance coverage & patient
financial responsibility for procedures, assist with insurance pre-
authorizations and review finance options with patients
Review upcoming schedules and audit accounts as needed
Coordinating patient check in and check out
Perform all duties relating to supporting the office
Overseeing schedule of staff/doctors/patients
Motivate the Periodontic Team to ensure daily/weekly/monthly revenue goals
Manage Periodontic front office and back office staff
Actively pursue continuous learning and professional development of Periodontic
Complete reports as needed in an accurate and timely manner
All other duties assigned
Education & Background Requirements:
Minimum of 2 years of Oral Surgery, Endodontic, or Periodontic experience
Minimum of 2 years management experience required
Experience with treatment plans required
Insurance verification experience required
Digital practice software experience, Eaglesoft or Dentrix preferred
Willing to travel DFW metroplex required
Compensation will commensurate with experience.
