Description
Position: Patient Scheduling Coordinator Type: Full Time Monday-Wednesday: 8:20am-5:10pm with lunch from 12:00pm-1:20pm Thursday: 7:20am-4:10pm with lunch from 12:00pm-1:20pm One Friday a month: 7:20am-4:10pm with lunch from 12:00pm-1:20pm Travel one Wednesday afternoon every month to our satellite office in Dayton, TX. We are looking for a friendly, outgoing patient scheduling coordinator to join our growing orthodontic family. Qualifications (preferred but not required): -Minimum one year experience in customer service -Associate or Bachelors Degree -Knowledge of orthodontics and orthodontic terminology -Must be able to work in a fast paced environment -Must have a patient focused attitude -Sets an example of exemplary customer service -Must have a professional appearance -Must have a positive and friendly demeanor -Must have exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal -Must be able to diffuse and handle patient/employee conflict (if necessary) -Must be able to communicate effectively with team members and patients -Must have a strong, detail-oriented work ethic -Must be able to multi-task -Must be a team player -Must have organizational skills -Proficient computer skills including Mac Software -Experience with dental software -Basic math skills Patient Scheduling Coordinator Duties Include (but are not limited to): -Schedule and confirm patient appointments -Greet and assist patients in person and via telephone and email -Create new patient's accounts and update necessary information in existing accounts -Maintain active, professional communication with other offices in the area -Assist with internal and external office marketing -Collect and record payments from patients -Assist with dental insurance verification for orthodontic benefits -Other front office duties: filing, organizing, documenting, etc. -Perform various support tasks as assigned by management -Adhere to HIPAA privacy policy -Assist with daily/weekly/monthly checklists Our office offers competitive pay, bonuses, holiday pay, and paid time off.
