Description
Our upbeat, five star pediatric practice is searching for a dynamic, outgoing individual with experience as an office manager in a dental office to join our team! We love our child patients and strive to always create a friendly, positive experience for them. This position requires a motivated, expressive personality with great leadership skills. Computer skills are a must! Eaglesoft experience is a plus. JOB DESCRIPTION - Have experience in and understanding of all Front Office responsibilities. - Hire, motivate, develop, and direct people as they work, identifying the best people for the job, and issuing discipline and termination when necessary. - Directing the operation of the practice and its efficient functioning. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS •Maintain regular attendance and adhere to assigned work schedule and office policies. •Must be able to comfortably and efficiently handle multiple deadlines and task assignments. •Must be able to work both independently and cooperatively in team settings. •Other duties and tasks, as assigned periodically. •Always maintain the highest level of confidentiality to HIPAA standards. •Adhere to strict safety guidelines and procedures to OSHA and office standards. •Must be detail oriented in order to maintain good financial practices, account balances, and financial reporting. •You must be flexible and understand that your job duties may change from time to time and that you may be asked to assist in other areas of the office. •Must demonstrate active listening by giving full attention to what other people are saying, taking time to understand the points being made, asking questions as appropriate, and not interrupting at inappropriate times. •Must demonstrate good reading comprehension by understanding written sentences and paragraphs in work-related documents. •Must demonstrate excellent communication skills by listening and talking to others to convey information effectively. •Information Ordering - the ability to arrange things or actions in a certain order or pattern according to a specific rule or set of rules (e.g., pa) EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION •Bachelor's Degree preferred. Comparable experience may be considered to substitute for all or part of the required education at management’s sole discretion. • Minimum two years of experience in medical or dental office setting. • Preferred 3-5 years of managerial experience in medical or dental office setting. • Knowledge of billing codes and understanding of insurance plans a plus.
