We are a fast growing private practice dental office in search of an experienced dental assistant with a strong work ethic, who is responsible & self-motivated. We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced dental assistant. Some of the essential functions & skills required for this position include, but are not limited to: Job Duties and Requirements: • Assist with all procedures • Prepare treatment rooms • Greet patients with a smile • Record medical history for each patient • Ensure all records are updated regularly and are accurate • Chart existing and recommended treatment • Sterilize and disinfect instruments, equipment and operatory • Prepare the instruments and materials required to treat each patient • Prepare materials for impressions and restorations • Complete radiographic images and intraoral photos • Communicate effectively with team and patients • Maintain & manage patient records in compliance with privacy and security regulations • Safeguard patient privacy and confidentiality • Organize referrals to other medical specialists & follow up on these weekly • Complete all opening & end of day procedures according to the offices’ protocols • Assist with other office duties as requested or needed • Assist lead dental assistant and office manager as needed Do you have the following? • Current Texas RDA license (required) • CPR (required) • 1+ year RDA experience (required) • Digital practice software experience (Eaglesoft/Dentrix preferred) • Flexibility to work every other Saturday (9am-3pm) • Additional certifications a plus - coronal polishing, Nitrous Oxide Pay is competitive based on experience and skills.
