Description
Moorehead Family Dentistry is seeking an energetic, teachable, team player for a full time (4 day/wk) office administrative position. This is an opportunity to work for a growing and exceptional pair of dental offices, based out of Batavia, OH. The role supports the Office Manager and includes running front desk two days per week in our Batavia office and offering remote administrative support, via remote software to our Blue Ash office the remaining two days. Tasks include: • Answering phones • Scheduling and rescheduling patient appointments • Providing a high level of customer support via phone calls and in person • Checking patients in and checking patients out, including taking payment • Utilizing Patient Management Software called Open Dental (very similar to Dentrix) to manage patient and insurance information. • Verifying patient insurance benefits via websites, and phone calls • Confirming patient appointments and filling openings in schedule Growth Opportunities Include: • Opportunity to grow into learning the insurance, billing, and claims side of office administration • Learning how to lead a team through morning meetings and office wide tasks and projects • Opportunity to learn about treatment plan presentation • Learn the insurance and billing side of the industry in how claims are billed, fees are negotiated, payments accepted, and patient financing options.
