Description
We are a private practice in search of an experienced dental assistant with a strong work ethic, who is responsible & self-motivated. We are looking for a team player that is organized and someone who is patient care oriented. Some of the essential functions & skills required for this position include, but are not limited to: Job Duties and Requirements: • Assist with all procedures • Prepare treatment rooms • Greet patients with a smile • Record medical history for each patient • Ensure all records are updated regularly and are accurate • Chart existing and recommended treatment as directed by the dentist during exam • Sterilize and disinfect instruments, equipment and operatory • Prepare the instruments and materials required to treat each patient • Complete radiographic images and intraoral photos • Communicate effectively with team and patients • Maintain & manage patient records in compliance with privacy and security regulations • Complete all opening & end of day procedures according to the offices’ protocols • Help manage inventory and keep supplies stocked • Help manage lab cases and patient referrals • Assist office manager with other office duties as requested or needed Do you have the following? • Current Texas RDA license (required) • CPR (required) • 1+ year RDA experience (required) • Digital practice software experience (Dentrix preferred) • Flexibility to work every other Saturday (9am-3pm) • Friendly personality, good communication skills, ability to work well in a team setting (required) • Ability to be reliable and punctual (required) Pay is competitive based on experience and skills.
