Job Description This energetic, innovative, and positive individual will ensure efficient operations of the dental office in accordance with established procedures. Some of the services provided by office managers may include: Respond efficiently to patient and doctor needs and inquiries Resolve patient issues in accordance with company policies, healthcare regulations, and dental board standards Manage patient scheduling and appointment flow Present treatment plans to patients and organize financial arrangements Oversee processing of dental claims and coordinate with dental insurance companies to ensure claims are paid Train and develop front office staff members Complete administrative functions including deposits, revenue posting, invoicing, etc. Oversee collections and accounts receivable Run and analyze management reports Support marketing and promotion initiatives Maintain facilities and equipment in accordance with hygiene and safety regulations including OSHA Oversee vendor contracts and manage vendor costs Monitor and report daily metrics and develop action plans in accordance with corporate initiatives Office Manager Minimum Requirements: Management or supervisory experience, preferably in healthcare High school diploma or equivalent. Knowledge of accounting and administrative principles and procedures Consistently professional appearance and attitude Able to provide great patient care Office Manager Preferred Requirements: Bachelors degree or Associates degree Knowledge of dental terminology Knowledge of dental office procedures Knowledge of insurance plans and claims processing Knowledge of Dentrix or similar software required This is not necessarily an exhaustive list of all responsibilities, duties, skills, efforts, requirements or working conditions associated with the job.
