impeccable chairside manners, relatable patient communications, tested processes

WHAT WE EXPECT FROM YOU:
The Registered Dental Hygienist’s purpose is to ensure our patients needs are
being met by efficiently executing all aspects related to this position as
described below. The following are key traits desired and roles to be executed.

•Understands, monitors and implements all policies and procedures by
o attention to detail and handling of diverse workloads
o maintaining proper documentation, periodontal charting
o obtaining diagnostic quality x-rays
o assisting with hygiene schedule and recalls
o administering routine and periodontal care
o implementing soft tissue management
o entering, presenting and discussing needed treatment including associated
o sterilization and room maintenance including putting away stock, trash,
o following all OSHA/HIPPA regulations
•Establishes desired patient experience and responds to clients’ needs by
o ensuring our patients feel at home while in the office
o providing high quality care with impeccable chair side manners
o providing patient education with procedure explanations and post op care
•Demonstrates a sense of unity within the office that feeds teammate
dependability and support by
o reporting to work as scheduled
o listening carefully to others
o encouraging teammates’ growth
o displaying passion and optimism
o remaining open to others’ ideas
o supporting organizations goals and values
o being able to work in a fast-paced environment with different personalities
•Knowledge of SoftDent, Denticon dental software
•Knowledge of Microsoft Suite, Word and Excel preferred
•Medicaid and private insurance experience
•Bilingual desired, but not required
•High school diploma or GED
•One year of administrative experience
•Two years of dental experience
•Some dental software experience required
•Previous experience in a dental practice required
