Dental Assisting within Dental Specialties Mayo Clinic is a unique opportunity. If
you are seeking an opportunity to be a high performing individual within our team
dynamics this position is for you. Dental Assistants have the opportunity to
support one main specialty practice as well as expand their capacity further in any
of our specialties that include: Orthodontics, Periodontics, Prosthetic and
Esthetic dentistry, Orofacial Pain, and Dental Sleep Medicine. The integration of
our team within Mayo Clinic provides opportunities to treat and train with the best
patients, residents, and doctors.
The Dental Assistant in Dental Specialties will utilize their Dental Assistant
training in hands on patient care in one or multi- subspecialties within the
practice. This includes Orthodontics, Periodontics, Prosthodontics, Dental Sleep
Medicine, and or Orafacial Pain. The Dental Assistant is part of the care team,
helping ensure quality and efficient care to Mayo Clinic patients. There is an .8
and .9 opening.
Must be a graduate of an accredited dental assistant program and completed
Minnesota Board of Dentistry-approved Nitrous Oxide training. Qualified candidate
will be expected to maintain continuing educational requirements in accordance with
guidelines established by the Minnesota Board of Dentistry.
