Recording and reviewing patient medical histories is also a necessity. Additional responsibilities and requirements include: Cleaning calcareous deposits, accretions, and stains from teeth, and beneath gum margins with dental instruments Charting conditions of dental decay and disease for diagnosis and treatment by the dentist Maintaining and sterilizing dental equipment Applying fluorides and other cavity preventing agents to prevent dental decay Must be flexible with hours Monday - Saturday Qualifications: The ability to prepare dental equipment and instruments Excellent working knowledge of dentistry and dental hygiene procedures, dental patient screening, and medical history documentation Our Dental Hygienist should have experience using Vizilite, Velscope and/or Diagnodent a Leadership skills Must have an engaging personality with a desire to be patient focused Highly motivated and goal-oriented Eaglesoft computer experience is a plus Experience using electronic medical records is a plus Education: Valid Dental Hygienist license in Ohio Minimum of an Associate’s degree in Dental Hygiene, Bachelor’s degree a plus CPR Certification Job Type: Part-time/Full-time Job Types: Full-time, Part-time Salary: $25.00 to $31.00 /hour
