Dr. Timothy Joseph and Dr. Johnnie Joseph of Joseph and Joseph, PC are seeking a
talented Human Resource and Business Manager to join their dental office to lead
implementation of business development and oversee personnel management functions.
In other words, these high spirited dentists are eager to do what they do
best!.... to be dentists and to allow a great manager to manage!
Our practice mission is to offer a wide scope of services including cosmetic
dentistry, a broad range of restorative and prosthetic services, and children’s
dentistry. Our reputation is built by providing personalized, high-quality
treatment delivered with optimal hospitality and customer service.
This multi-faceted role includes a variety of tasks ranging from developing
efficient systems, communication, marketing and team building. The Manager is the
“person on point” in the office to oversee staff performance, new-hire staff
development, personnel coaching, organize team meetings, assure policy compliance
and personnel record maintenance, establish and support business initiatives and
processes related to change management, streamline efficiencies, implement
marketing and growth strategies, oversee patient billing/accounts and, generally,
support each day to be upbeat, patient-focused, and productive. Additionally, you
will be cross-trained in basic dental administrative functions to cover during
times of staff absence.
A qualified candidate must have excellent communication skills, be highly
organized, diligent with tasks, and have several years of proven personnel
management, team building and strategic problem-solving experience. Do you need
prior dental experience? Absolutely NOT! If you understand solid business
principles, have a passion for the diving into the details and team building,
you’ll catch onto our software, processes, terminology and understanding of
procedures so fast… it’ll make you smile. Of course, candidates with prior dental
experience are certainly welcomed to apply.
Qualifications to apply for this position:
1. Minimum 3 years of business experience including personnel management.
2. BS or BA from an accredited University in Communications, Healthcare
Administration, Organization Management, Business, Marketing, Public Relations,
other related field, or equivalent skills gained through work experience.
3. Excellent verifiable references and stable work history.
4. Experience in business promotion and knowledge of effective website applications.
5. Leadership skills and a passion for business growth.
6. Initiative and time to devote to self-study to learn medical/dental coding,
billing procedures and software that is industry specific.
