Treatment and Benefits Coordinator for Growing Dental Practice We are hiring a full-time Treatment and Benefits Coordinator to work for our growing private practice in Marietta, GA. The Treatment and Benefits Coordinator must have 1-2 years’ experience in dental treatment planning, billing, and insurance. We are looking for a dynamic team member that has the capacity and flexibility to grow with the practice and has the desire to become a leader in the organization. PRIMARY FUNCTIONS Collections/Insurance • Overall AR management • Posting insurance and patient payments • Filing insurance claims, correcting any errors in submission, and following up on past due claims • Preparing and mailing billing statements • Verifying insurances, checking eligibility, and submitting pre-authorizations • Updating and maintaining patient insurance information at all times • Collecting past due payments in coordination with collection agency Treatment • Presenting treatment and scheduling appointments • Informing and assisting patients on different payment options • Managing unfinished and unscheduled treatments Other • Answering phones and checking people out • Cross training other members on insurance, billing, and treatment planning processes • Continuously improving practice by identifying inefficiencies, gathering information, testing solutions, and developing new standard operating procedures ADDITIONAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES • Scheduling • Maintaining recare system • Records management • Data entry, data analysis, and reporting • Marketing • Inventory management • Training and coaching SKILLS and QUALIFICATIONS • Prior dental office experience needed (minimum 1-2 years) • Experience with treatment planning/presentation, PPO insurances, and billing • Prior experience with Open Dental preferred • Experience and comfort working with data and analytics • Great communicator • Patient focused • Team focused • Growth focused • Solution focused • Positive attitude BENEFITS and PERKS • Opportunity to grow into a management position • Performance based monthly bonus • Hardworking yet laid back work culture • Dental care support • Paid holidays • Paid time off • Personal development and growth focused • Social responsibility and volunteer opportunities • Plenty of snacks!
