Dental Assistant – Experience is valuable, but not required. Training Offered!
The Endodontic Specialty team of Dr. Allen Sawyer is seeking a new team member to
fill the role of “Dental Assistant”. If you are a trained assistant or just
completed technical training, you are welcomed to apply. Additionally, if you have
prior healthcare-industry experience or are a recent college graduate with an

Individuals with majors in biology, exercise science, kinesiology, and even

interesting career in endodontics! What interests our office is finding a
“great-fit” team member; due to our supportive and wonderful staff, we can train
the right person into our technology and skills.
Why do dental staff enjoy the specialty practice of endodontics? It’s fast paced,
always interesting (while we discover the “root cause” of the patient’s problem),
and our work makes a meaningful difference in our patients’ lives.
This is a permanent, Monday - Thursday position with periodic half-days (morning
only) on some Fridays. M-TH work hours, 7:30 AM – 5:30 PM (patient hours are 8-5).
After training, duties will include:
__Assisting with expanded duties and x-ray certification
__Sterilization, room break down/set-up, instrument management
__Multi-tasking with calmness and professionalism
__Record documentation / utilization of our software
__Attentiveness to “details, details, details”
__Initiative, cooperation and collaboration with team members
__Bringing your best attitude and compassion to work each day so that we give our
best effort to patients and professional colleagues who depend on us.
To be eligible to apply for this position, candidates must have:
*****Stable work history (recent college graduates seeking their after-graduation
position are welcomed are encouraged to apply, too)
*****Excellent communication skills: speaking and writing
*****Passion to serve in the healthcare industry
*****Prior dental experience is appreciated, but not required to apply
*****Good hand-eye coordination
*****Strong knowledge of customer service
