Office Manager – Job Description This position reports directly to the Director of HR/Operations Company Description Alabama Family Dentistry is a multi-practice dental group serving the Birmingham and surrounded areas in General Dentistry; focused on providing high quality dental care to patients of all ages. Our group of partner dentists and team focus primarily on offering preventive, restorative, and cosmetic dentistry with personalized dental solutions. Job Overview This supervisory role will assist in the optimization of managing the day to day activities of a specific location within the organization. This position will be responsible for providing objective recommendations for office growth and streamlined processes; focused in team development, patient flow, treatment planning, office systems, recruitment, etc. Position Status: Full Time, Non-Exempt. | Supervises Business Office/Clinical Employees Primary Responsibilities Lead by example and coach team to provide exceptional patient experiences Maintain focus on a productive schedule that supports dentists/doctors as they deliver high quality patient care OM will work within budget guidelines to maintain supported office profitability Provide ongoing feedback, training, and growth to his/her department to maximize productivity that aligns with company objectives and standards Completes daily/monthly reports in preparation of monthly month-end close Performs team meetings and annual performance reviews Maintain protocols and guidelines as they relate to patient privacy (HIPPA/OSHA) Assist in interviewing/recruiting for office level positions within assigned office Track employee attendance/absences and reports appropriately Other duties assigned by Director, HR/Operations Desired Qualifications Associate degree in business management, or related discipline Must have excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills Candidate must have 3+ years of dental experience/knowledge; or combination of education and experience Must be detailed oriented, accurate, reliable, and well-versed Demonstrated people management experience.
