We are looking for a Patient Care Coordinator in our Watertown office. We are
looking for applicants with a positive attitude, that have the skills to multi-task
and also take direction. Duties include: Check-in patients, greeting patients, provide new patients with new patient paperwork, verify insurance information, enter new patient information in to the practices dental practice management software (Softdent), mark no-shows and arrivals on the schedule and add initials, alert clinicians of patient’s arrival and add HIPAA information. Check-out patients, collect payments due, make appointments, add
transactions into the practice software, print claim when applicable, and coordinate treatment plans and payment schedules. Fill empty slots from same day cancellations, no-shows and patient recall lists. Other duties include (some are on a rotational basis): * Answer phones and clear voice mails on a timely basis. * Schedule appointments, fill empty slots and make confirmation calls. * Conduct the end of day closeout.
