Position: DENTAL OFFICE Receptionist/Front Desk/Insurance Specialist/Billing and Treatment Coordinator.
Our objective is to provide friendly and quality service to each and every patient that walks through our door. We are looking for someone who enjoys coming to work with a smile on their face. Must be a team player with no ego, have stable work history, good communication skills, and provides great customer service.
Good working environment. We are in the Southwest Suburbs. Our office has 3 part-time general dentists, 1 orthodontist specialist, and 10 staff members. We do orthodontics/braces 2 days per week, general dentistry 4 days per week, and pediatrics (kids) with nitrous gas half day a week.

-Minimum 6 months of experience as a receptionist in the health care field.
-Excellent phone skills: great communicator on the phone, greeting new patients, make new accounts for patients in software, make/confirm appointments, retrieve insurance information, etc.
-Excellent front desk skills: scanning insurance cards and IDs, help patients fill out paperwork, preparing patient insurance information, documenting notes, etc.
-Ability to work in a fast-paced dental office. Must be a multi-tasker!
-Must have flexible work schedule. We are open Monday to Friday, as early as 8:00am or as late as 7:00pm. Saturdays usually end around 2:00.
-Must be bilingual English/Spanish, or English/Arabic, or English/Polish.
-Six (6) months experience in private dental office or university/hospital dental clinic.
-Knowledge with understanding dental Medicaid: ability to verify patient Medicaid eligibility, process claims for different Medicaid plans, submit preauthorizations for treatment, etc.
-Ability to verify PPO dental benefits, calculate and present treatment plans, pre-collect from patients, posting payments, etc.
-Ability to educate patients on the dental treatment they need, and different financing options available.
-Ability to manage lab cases, end of day reports, doctor production and collection reports, etc.
This position is for PART-TIME, around 20 hours per week. Once candidate shows proficiency with all tasks, they will become FULL-TIME. The more tasks you can complete, the more work we can give you.
