We are a growing oral surgery office looking to add a Front Desk Coordinator who has experience in an oral surgery clinic. The candidate will handle all front desk duties including but not limited to: answering telephones, checking in and out, making appointments, verifying insurance benefits and basic accounts receivables. Candidate should be dynamic, energetic, enthusiastic, caring, dependable, and be a great communicator with exceptional customer service skills. Candidate will play an important role as a positive team member. Candidate must have excellent written and oral communication skills with co-workers and patients at all times. Some traveling may be required as we have four locations. Essential Functions: *Must be able to communicate effectively and give feedback regularly to patient’s and direct supervisors *Must have an understanding and familiarity with ADA codes, in particular, oral surgery codes *Provide and complete insurance paperwork and obtain information from patient’s insurance provider(s) as needed to ensure payment. *Operate telephone switchboard to answer, screen and forward calls, providing information, taking messages and scheduling appointments. *Greet visitors and callers, handle their inquiries, and direct them to the appropriate persons according to their needs. *Provide information about the Practice, such as location of offices, employees within the organization, or services provided. *Must maintain regular, consistent and punctual attendance in accordance with assigned schedule and time off policies. *Must be able to comfortably and efficiently handle multiple deadlines and task assignments. *Must be able to work both independently and cooperatively in team settings. *Other duties and tasks, as assigned periodically. Success Factors: *Always maintain the highest level of confidentiality to HIPAA standards while maintaining patient records *Adhere to strict safety guidelines and procedures to OSHA and office standards. *Must be detail oriented in order to prepare and process business correspondence. *Must demonstrate active listening - Giving full attention to what other people are saying, taking time to understand the points being made, asking questions as appropriate, and not interrupting at inappropriate times. *Must demonstrate good reading comprehension - Understanding written sentences and paragraphs in work related documents.
