Our progressive periodontal practice is seeking a dedicated team member to manage
both the post-surgical aspects of patient care as well traditional administrative
responsibilities. From the clinical perspective we need someone who has the
experience to oversee the post-surgical phases of healing and manage the clinical
setting. This position also requires an individual that possesses the desire and
composure to assist our administrative team.Job responsibilities include:Managing
the post-surgical phase of treatment including suture removal, coronal polishing,
clinical and radiographic assessment. Dialoging patients about post-surgical
healing. Providing patient with oral hygiene instructions.Providing implant
maintenance procedures.Managing the clinical realm of the practice including
sterilization, clinical inventory, equipment maintenance and regulatory compliance.
Basic administrative responsibilities. Desired skill set:2 years’ experience as a
dental assistant.Coronal polishing certificate.Competency with digital
radiographs.Strong communication and inter-personal skills.Ability to multi-task.
