Description

Fun and energetic dental assistant needed to join a new office in Marietta, Georgia. We’d like someone professional, polished, self-motivated, and with great customer service for our spa-like office. Our office has some new equipment (3D Cone Beam CT and lasers) and technology. The position is part-time (~20- 30hrs/wk) with the opportunity to add days in the future. Position includes competitive pay (based on experience), as well as potential bonuses. Experience/education in dental assisting preferred, but not required. Candidate must be comfortable working with patients of all ages, including children. Duties include, but are not limited to: chair-side assisting, sterilization, taking x- rays, taking and pouring impressions, fabricating and trimming temporary crowns, bleaching trays, coronal polishing and delivering oral hygiene instructions. Experience with EagleSoft practice management software a plus. We are excited to add a great member to our already amazing team! Primary Responsibilities Responsible for new patients and existing patients smooth transition into the practice, existing patients ongoing dental care, communication with patients during treatment, and communication with specialty offices and other vendors. Specific Duties Patient management Greet new patients, updating patients chart with all new information if needed, reviewing health history Straighten up the facility in the front office, report any larger maintenance issues to admin if needed Communicate between specialist and other vendors including lab to make sure that the patient is appropriately being managed Arrange referral appointments and manage communications with specialty offices Maintain the control all HIPPA privacy and security regulations including monitoring and overseeing patients records are appropriately being charted and completed Present treatment plan to patients Arrange payment plan with patients Call patients after difficult treatment appointments Schedule appointments to maintain a full schedule. Office participation Be present and active for all team meetings Run monthly, weekly and daily reports to check case acceptance Be a team player providing daily positive reinforcement and encouragement of growth for your team Personnel Requirements Education/Experience Bilingual is a plus EagleSoft user Computer skills including excel, word, Microsoft office Superior knowledge of dentistry and dental terminology Interpersonal Great communication skills. Great customer service and phone skills. Poised for growth, positive, organized, friendly to staff and patients, capable of making staff and patients feel welcomed and at ease.
