The ideal candidate will be friendly, outgoing, and highly organized. He or she will take over all management duties for front office staff, including reception and dental assisting professionals. A Dental Office Manager needs to have excellent interpersonal skills as well as the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, high-energy environment. Job Skills Required: FLUENT IN SPANISH IS A MUST Highschool diploma 3 YEARS EXPERIENCE WORKING IN MEDICAID OFFICE Computer savvy Knowledge of email and spreadsheets Prefer knowledge of Dentrix MUST BE AVAILABLE TO WORK THIS SCHEDULE: Tuesday - Friday 10:30am- 7:30pm EVERY SATURDAY 9:30a - 3:30p *Mondays when children are out of school for the holidays*Job Skills Preferred: SALARY + BONUS + BENEFITS: - COMPENSATION BASED ON EXPERIENCE (UP TO $55K) - Competitive bonus structure, paid holidays, PTO, sick pay, and dental benefits Job Description Summary: The ideal candidate will lead all non-clinical aspects of the office running day to day operations, scheduling, patient care, patient satisfaction, health and safety compliance, audits and overall performance of all non-clinical staff. Responsibilities Culture: Provide exceptional patient experience and resolve patient issues and concerns. Hold employees accountable in consistent with company policy. Foster team collaboration, share information and ideas, and challenge team to innovate. Leadership: Lead the daily huddle at the appointed time, communicate staff assignments and plans, and motivate your team members to provide exceptional patient experience. Make sure that each team member completes the master duty list and turns in. Make sure audits are done and turned in by team members in a timely member. Supervise office functions and team members during the day to ensure each team member is engaged and that each function and task is being performed properly. Constantly monitor the schedule to control the patient flow and to make sure patients are being provided dental services in a timely and efficient manner. Communicate with upper management in regards to the office performance, HR issues, patient experience, Dr. concerns etc. Work with billing department and upper management to minimize billing write offs. Relationship With Doctors: Establish strong relationships with doctors to provide excellent customer service. Communicate with Doctors to discuss issues and come up with solutions to problems. Treatment Facilitation: Ensure all patients are checked in correctly, diagnosed by a licensed professional, and are provided with all the available treatment options according to their need and the direction of the providing Dentist. Make sure the staff is credentialed and certified at all times. Increase case acceptance and maximize revenues and production on a daily basis. Talent Acquisition and Performance: Actively manage Employee performance issues and work with upper management to resolve them. Coordinate all aspects of hiring, layoffs, training, and counseling with Human Resources and provide proper documentation at all steps in the process. Talent Development: Ensure that all team members are trained and proficient in Dentrix. Ensure that all office and patient communications with patients are logged in Dentrix. Work with upper management to coach, guide and train employees. Scheduling: Review the Doctor Schedule at the beginning and end of every day and make sure all Employees know which doctors are in the office. Work with Regional Manager to optimize office schedule, office production, staff and patient experience.
